Expedited Access to Medical Records

Washington Open MRI’s medical records division, Clearpath, allows attorneys, insurance companies, and records retrieval to easily request medical files. Clearpath is a HIPAA- compliant, web-based portal that enables us to fulfill requests faster and more reliably than relying on mailing documents and discs.

Once you have obtained a properly signed HIPAA-compliant medical release or generated a subpoena please follow these instructions to request medical records.

  • If you do not already have an account, simply click “Request Account” and fill out the information. The info will be reviewed and it may take up to 24 hours to create an account.

Special Cases Deserve Specialized Imaging

Highly specific protocols to accurately diagnose personal injuries for MVA cases.

  • Upright Imaging in weight-bearing positions (sitting or standing) can reveal abnormalities not visible in traditional supine (lying down) MRIs.
  • The WOMRI Whiplash Protocol examines the Alar & Transverse Ligament for permanent injury.
  • Flexion – Extension MRI evaluates if disc bulges or herniations worsen or become more compressive by taking images at multiple static points during a range of motion positions.
    Especially important in craniocervical instability, Chiari malformation, spondylolisthesis, and postural disc issues.
  • Increases Patient Comfort minimizing claustrophobia, anxiety, and physical discomfort, making it easier for patients with pain or PTSD.
